Mark Hunt’s response to Brock Lesnar’s potential USADA violation: “Not surprised”

Mark Hunt has responded to news of Brock Lesnar’s potential USADA violation in predictable fashion, making a quick comment in an interview and adding thoughts on Twitter as well.

“Not surprised,” Hunt said in an interview with MMAFighting.com. “…I think he should be made an example of like every other cheater.”

In a response to Roy Nelson on Twitter, he got in a dig at the drug test results coming in after the fact.

“[You] know Roy and they say they [are] cleaning the sport up, Hunt commented, “this is the third time I have had to fight with a cheater.”

Though the drug test in question came out of competition prior to UFC 200, Lesnar’s win is likely to be overturned to a “no contest.”

Penick’s Analysis: Hunt is completely justified in his thoughts with this failed test. Lesnar had the retort prior to this that he’d never failed a drug test, but that’s out the window now. Barring total exoneration, there’s nothing left for him to argue in his favor. The test will speak for itself.
