Former Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima will be back in action for the first time in 11 months this June, with the organization announcing on Tuesday that he’ll take on Chidi Njokuani in the co-main event of Bellator 156 “Galvao vs. Dantas II” on June 17.

Lima, who won the vacant Welterweight Title in 2014, lost that belt in his first defense last July against Andrey Koreshkov. That was just his second loss in ten career fights under the Bellator banner.

Njokuani made his Bellator debut last November, defeating Ricky Rainey for his fourth straight win overall. The 27-year-old brother of UFC and WEC vet Anthony Njokuani is 14-4 with one no contest in his 19 fight career.

Bellator 156 will be headlined by the rematch between Marcos Galvao and Eduardo Dantas for the Bellator Bantamweight Championship, and airs live on Spike from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
