The UFC brought solid viewership to Fox Sports 1 on Saturday night for UFC Fight Night 82, drawing an average of 1.317 million viewers for the main card according to a report from SportsTVRatings.com.
The event shifted to FS1 after the original main event between Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez was canceled due to injury; Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson took out Johny Hendricks in the first round in the night’s replacement main event.
Additionally, the two-hour preliminary card broadcast drew an average of 1.093 million viewers, which itself was over the average viewership for UFC Fight Night main cards in 2015.
