Tony Ferguson’s fantastic win over Edson Barboza at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale may wind up earning him a title fight, but it tangibly added six figures to his bank account.

Ferguson took home a double bonus out of the event, earning a “Performance of the Night” award for his second round submission, and both he and Barboza rightfully earned the “Fight of the Night” bonus in what was one of the best fights of the year.

Each of the night’s awards were worth $50,000, with Frankie Edgar taking the other “Performance of the Night” award for his first round KO over Chad Mendes in the main event.

The lightweight bout between Ferguson and Barboza was expected to be an entertaining fight, and it delivered in spades. Their violent back and forth ultimately led to Ferguson snatching a D’Arce choke in transition on Barboza, earning him his seventh straight victory in the division.
