Fresh off his tenth win in 11 fights, Neil Magny has secured a new four fight contract with the UFC. News of the new deal was first reported by MMAFighting.com, citing confirmation from Magny himself.

The welterweight contender scored his latest victory last month in an impressive comeback win over Hector Lombard at UFC Fight Night 85 in Brisbane, Australia. He was nearly taken out in the opening minute, but survived Lombard’s onslaught, and took control late in the first round. He scored a TKO win early in the third after having the fight all but finished late in the second.

The 28-year-old took part in the maligned 16th season of The Ultimate Fighter, and his UFC run began with losses in two of three fights. He went on one hell of a run from there, winning seven straight before falling short against Demian Maia last August. He bounced back quickly with a short notice August win over Erick Silva, then added a win over Kelvin Gastelum before the Lombard bout.
