Fresh off a short notice victory over Sage Northcutt, Bryan Barberena is heading to Brazil for his next fight, with the UFC’s Brazilian Instagram account announcing that he’ll take on Warlley Alves on May 14.

Barberena’s submission win over the overly-hyped Northcutt at UFC on Fox 18 was his second in three UFC bouts, bringing him to 11-3 overall in his career. The 26-year-old has just one loss in his last five years of competition, coming in a “Fight of the Night” decision against Chad Laprise.

He’ll take a leap up from Northcutt in TUF: Brazil 3 winner Alves, who has kept himself undefeated after that tournament showing with three more wins in the Octagon. That includes submission victories over Nordine Taleb and Colby Covington in his last two fights.

The May 14 event is expected to be UFC 198 with a main event between Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight Title, though that fight and official name change hasn’t yet been announced.
