Mark Hunt blasts Dana White after being removed from fight

On Tuesday it was revealed that Mark Hunt was being removed from his main event fight against Marcin Tybura at UFC Fight Night 121 for medical reasons. Well, let’s just say Hunt did not take too kindly of the news and he took to Instagram to voice his displeasure.

I’m disappointed that I have been withdrawn from the fight, I have passed all medicals 2 days ago. And spent 100,000 on camp. The truth is the legal case I have filed has caused me to be withdrawn. The interview has been taken out of context and want to reassure all my fans, I slur my words only when I have a drink I’m fit and healthy, and would have understood if the UFC requested a medical to ensure my safety, however this is total bullshit fuck you Dana, you’ve always hated me you dog

I spent hours the other day with the doctors I was cleared to fight the interview I did with players voice was misquoted I don’t slur my words and is a is a running joke between my wife and me my memory isn’t that great but who remembers shit they dont want to not good

@danawhite u peice of shit motherfuker why u fuckers pull me from the fight u getting another lawsuit u fuckwit u can kiss my ass u bald headed prick u put that chicken shit bitch in get fucked cocksucker

It appears Hunt plans to take legal action against both Dana White and the UFC for being removed from the card. Fabricio Werdum will step in for Hunt.

Cejudo vs. Pettis still on

After losing personal items and sustaining a burn to his foot due to the Northern California wildfires, Henry Cejudo will still fight Sergio Pettis at UFC 218. Cejudo’s manager Ali Abdelaziz told MMAjunkie confirming the news.

“He woke up to the fire alarm, but he thought it was just a false alarm so he went back to sleep,” Abdelaziz told MMAjunkie. “He woke up at 4 a.m. to his room being filled with smoke. He had no choice but to jump (from the balcony) on the second floor. He landed on some fire and burned his foot. He’s safe.”

Ross Pearson isn’t done yet

After losing his fourth fight in a row at UFC Fight Night 110 to Dan Hooker, many thought it was the end of the line for Ross Pearson. Apparently the thirty-three year old isn’t ready to call it quits just yet. Pearson took to Twitter to make it known he’s looking to get back in the octagon soon.

For everyone asking yes I’m still fighting, yes I’m still with UFC, & yes I’m looking to fight soon I have rested my body my mind & spirit I’m training everyday waiting for (phone image)
