Will jet lag play a major part in Mark Hunt's performance against Junior dos Santos at UFC 160? Regardless, who do you expect to win that fight?
RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
It won't help, but beyond that, who knows. Hunt was a major underdog going into this week, so I can't imagine he's all of a sudden going to be the favorite now. I think JDS is quick enough to avoid the killshot for 15 minutes, and I predict him to win a tedious 15 minute affair.

I don't think jet lag will that big a deal in this fight. I expect JDS to respond after getting thumped by Cain Velasquez in his last fight. I expect JDS to win by TKO, but only after Hunt proves his resilience once again. I would love to see Hunt's title run continue, but I just can't see it.
BRAD WALKER, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
I don't believe in jet lag, and Mark Hunt could legitimately shock the world here. He looked great against Struve and has been in stride for some time now. He may hit his glass ceiling but JDS had his flaws exposed against Cain in his last fight. If Hunt gets him win the right shot we could all be stumped watching Hunt vs Velasquez in a few months. However my instincts tell me that Dos Santos will win a decision or a submission here in the second round. I find it really unlikely that we get a KO but I am sure Mike Frost will let me have it.
ERIC HOBAUGH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I do not know how a flight that long could not affect his performance, but he was not winning this fight with or without jet lag. Junior will win the fight and like I said, Hunt was never going to win this fight anyway.
C.J. TUTTLE, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
Mark Hunt is so in vogue right now. Rightfully so, but I think the dude gets outclassed by "Cigano".
The training of the UFC fighters and being used to the demand of travel, cancel out the jet lag and in the end Junior handles the deadly hands of Mark Hunt with some deadly hands of his own.
Junior stops him in round two.
CAMERON LYMAN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR
I think Hunt has enough time to adjust for jetlag as he could have prepared for the time change before he landed in the US. I expect dos Santos to use speed, range and his jab to play a safe fight. As Hunt tires towards the end of round two, dos Santos will pour it on and will likely get a third round stoppage via strikes.
ANWAR PEREZ, MMATORCH COLUMNIST
Jet lag will not play any factor in Hunt's fight with dos Santos. Problem is, nothing really is going to help Hunt as I see him taking tons of punishment from JDS, but not being finished, leading to a decision victory for JDS.
DAN MOORE, MMATORCH UK COLUMNIST
I don't think it will affect him too much - because the plan to win the fight as early as possible was already in place. Mark Hunt's best chance is to go for broke and try to knock-out Junior dos Santos in the first round. The lack of sleep only accentuates the need for it to happen. If he doesn't - sleep deprived or not - JDS wins it at a canter with a late stoppage.
