What do you think about Saturday's UFC on Fuel card airing at 9AM ET in North America? Would you enjoy seeing more overseas cards during the day?

RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

Here in Wisconsin, I'll be getting up at 6 AM in order to watch the Facebook fights which begin at 6:15 AM. I mean, Tom DeBlass is fighting, man. While I'd prefer to have my morning MMA begin at maybe 10 AM, I don't think the UFC is going to be invading Afghanistan anytime soon (read that however you wish); so 6AM it is. I'm all for the UFC chasing every last dollar, because some of those dollars are going to trickle down to some of the fighters, and that's a good thing. And if it means running more in Macau, and less in Miami, the go for it. And personally, I remember how much it sucked when the UFC would hold shows in Europe that didn't air live in the States. And when sports networks would treat MMA like a sport and would run the results on their air, well, I won't miss the misanthropes who bitched about MMA being treated like a real sport, despite their lust for MMA to be treated like a real sport. I'm confused. But to conclude (you're welcome), I'm all for it, because better to have live MMA at odd hours than on tape-delay.

FRANK HYDEN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I think it's cool that they're showing it, but that's awfully early so I'm not sure how many people will remember that the event is on. I think they should always try to do this, if possible.

ANWAR PEREZ, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

It's convenient only in that it'll be live, and no worries about stumbling onto spoilers throughout the day, but at 9AM ET, it is a bit much. Honestly, that's a lot considering that many people don't outright have Fuel, so in that respect it doesn't really matter what time it comes on. It would serve better if on a network most people have, such as FX.

ERIC HOBAUGH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I am OK with the card being at 9AM ET because I watch every card I can. I love MMA and write about it every day. I am dedicated to it in every aspect of the sport. I am puzzled by this time slot from the network though. A better question might be will the casual fan care enough about the card to watch? I am of the opinion that this card will be mostly skipped by all but the most ardent fans. For most fans it would be better served if this card were tape delayed and played at 8:00 PM on Saturday evening. This would capture the highest potential audience for Fuel TV. I will watch the fight cards during the day, but the sport will be better served if the UFC does not have any more cards in the day.

BRAD WALKER, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

To be honest, The chances of me being in front of the television at that time of day are slimmer than the chances of seeing the Vikings in the playoffs. I will probably leave it sitting on my DVR until the evening when my kids go to sleep and then watch it either with my wife, or with my wife, brother and sister in law. It's not going to garner any ratings at all because most people probably don't even realize the card starts at 9AM EST. During the day would be fine with me, but first thing on a Saturday morning is suicide for ratings, nobody with kids is going to be able to sit and watch that live.
