Will Tito Ortiz's fight with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC 140 be the last of his career?

RICH HANSEN, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

I don't know.  Ask Tito.  The last time Tito and I hung out together, trolling the bar for chicks, I forgot to ask him.  Boy do I feel stoopid now.

FRANK HYDEN, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

I think if Tito wins, it's his last fight. If he loses, I could see him going for one final fight. Everybody would like to go out on top, so I think Tito might stick around a bit if he were to lose. For the record, I think Tito will win and retire in the cage afterward. I know Tito isn't who he used to be, but I still think he can get it done.

ANWAR PEREZ, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

I would like to think that this WOULD be Tito Ortiz's last fight, but with fighters as with any other sport, you never know.  Players retire, only to come back the next season, so even though Ortiz may say this could be his last fight, time will only tell.  Even if it's not, I hope to see Ortiz bring his A game and show a younger crowd that you can be an excellent showman AND fighter, and though Chael Sonnen comes close, no one is as good as Tito Ortiz when it comes to being both.

ERIC HOBAUGH, MMATORCH CONTRIBUTOR

Tito has been done for years and one good fight in five years does not erase that fact.  He is still a pay-per-rview draw, but he is not even in my top 20 light-heavyweight fighters.  Rashad Evans proved that in their fight this past August at UFC 133.  Tito sounds like he may be ready to retire. I have read that he has several successful business ventures and if that is the case, he should hang up the gloves after UFC 140.  I am convinced though, he will hang on as long as the UFC pays him large enough paychecks.  He will likely not retire after UFC 140.

CHRIS PARK, MMATORCH UK SPECIALIST

I don't think so. Win or lose I am gonna buy Tito's, recently documented, two-fight retirement plan. Tito did the UFC a huge favour in taking the Rashad Evans fight, and for that reason that loss will be almost disregarded.

Whatever the outcome on Saturday, I see him getting one last fight, possibly against Rich Franklin, and then announcing his retirement on that night.

Lil Nog on the other hand; defeat, and it's P.45 time. @MMATorchUK

JASON AMADI, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

In a recent interview with Karyn Bryant, Tito Ortiz said he only had two fights left on his contract and that he might retire once he fulfilled that contract. So win or lose, I'm sure the UFC will honor the final fight on his contract and we'll see Ortiz in the Octagon at least once more.

Frankly, his retirement can't come soon enough for me. Not because I dislike Ortiz, but because I can't stand this "People's Champion" nonsense. We all know who the "People's Champion" is, and I think it's pathetic that a shopworn Tito Ortiz is trying to garner pity for his farewell tour by hitching his wagon to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

MATT PELKEY, MMATORCH COLUMNIST

Since I feel pretty sure it'll be his last fight in the UFC, and I just can't see him fighting in Japan or in a regional show for a  fraction of the money and attention, I'll say yes. The Bader upset obviously bought him a couple more fights, but Ortiz has been on borrowed time in the UFC for years now. Lil' Nog officially sends him packing with a close, exciting decision loss.

JAMIE PENICK, MMATORCH EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Ortiz seems pretty dead set on wanting to fight Forrest Griffin one more time in early 2012 for his last fight, so I think the UFC will give him that final contracted fight win or lose against Lil' Nog on Saturday. If Griffin isn't able to go in the spring, or doesn't want that matchup for his next fight, then it's certainly possible Ortiz will walk away without that last fight, and may be more possible if Ortiz wins this fight in Toronto.
