Following a loss to Luke Rockhold in July for Strikeforce's Middleweight Championship, Tim Kennedy now has his next booking, as the organization announced on Thursday that he'll take on 10-2 Trevor Smith on the November 3. event in Oklahoma City.
Smith is 2-1 in three Strikeforce appearances, with the loss coming against Gian Villante earlier this year. He's since bounced back with a win outside of the organization.
Kennedy is 5-2 in since debuting in Strikeforce in 2009, with the two losses both coming by decision in title fights to Rockhold and Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
