In a bit of fantastic news, UFC welterweight Dan Miller Tweeted on Thursday that his son underwent a successful kidney transplant.
"Surgery went well today," Miller wrote. "Never thought I'd be so happy to see some pee!"
Daniel James Miller, Jr. has suffered from polycystic kidney disease since birth, and he finally received a transplant on Thursday. It's a sign of positivity for a family who has had far more than their fair share of turmoil and strife over the last several years.
