The UFC will return to Japan in 2013, but it won't be for a one-off pay-per-view event like this year's UFC 144 event. According to a report from Japanese sports site NikkanSports.com, the UFC is planning a four-event "Japan series" for 2013.
That's the word from UFC Asia head Mark Fischer, who revealed the plans to feature Japanese talent on the cards. The events would all be smaller fight cards, as they're targeting 5,000-seat venues for the series. No broadcast plans are set at this time, but they'd likely be Fuel TV events.
