The light heavyweight bout between Phil Davis and UFC newcomer Wagner Prado came to an unfortunate end early on Saturday night at UFC on Fox 4, as Davis inadvertently poked Prado in the eye, leading to the cageside doctors bringing a halt to the proceedings.
Prado was distraught, but he told the doctor he was seeing double and it was a just stoppage. Provided his eye heals up, UFC President Dana White said at the post fight press conference that the UFC is likely to match the two of them up again at UFC on FX 5 in Minneapolis this October. It's not set in stone, but that's at least the preliminary plan for that bout right now.
