With the loss of Jon Fitch from UFC on Fuel 4, Aaron Simpson will now make his welterweight debut against a considerably less-known fighter. On Tuesday's UFC Tonight program on Fuel TV, it was announced that he'll take on a returning Kenny Robertson on the card.
Robertson got one fight in the UFC last February, losing to Mike Pierce at UFC 126. That was the first loss of his career, and he's added a win outside of the organization in the year and a half since that bout. Now, he'll get to return on July 11 against Simpson.
Simpson drops to welterweight after having a three-fight winning streak snapped against Ronny Markes in February.
