Strikeforce's May 19 event has added a lightweight bout between two veterans of the promotion. The organization announced on Wednesday that James Terry and Billy Evangelista will square off on the card, with both looking to get back on the winning track.
Terry has lost two of three fights in the organization, most recently dropping a split decision to Nah-Shon Burrell in January. This fight will mark his tenth appearance for Strikeforce since his debut in the organization in April of 2009.
Evangelista will make his 11th appearance in Strikeforce, and will look to bounce back from a two fight losing streak. Those losses - decisions against Jorge Masvidal and K.J. Noons - are the first in his career after starting off with an 11-0 run with one no contest through 12 fights.
