Mike Stumpf has suffered an injury, taking him out of a bout with Justin Edwards at UFC 143. The UFC announced his removal on Tuesday, along with his replacement, undefeated UFC newcomer Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson.
Thompson is a former kickboxer who has made a successful transition to MMA, entering the Octagon with a 5-0 record. Edwards, who came into the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter season 13, has lost two of his three fights in the organization.
