Well the return of the MMA Torch predictions contest reaffirmed a couple of things for me. Firstly, I really need to stop backing British fighters based on loyalty and patriotism. It's not big, it's not clever and I often find myself stuck in mid table because of it (No more). Secondly, it was a reminder of just how much I enjoy playing this game, and it's a real pleasure to take it over from the legendary Rich Hansen. With the amount of kind words I received, it seems like I'm not the only one who's missed it. Tell your friends about it, tell your dog, and let's make it the most popular FREE UFC prediction game on the planet.
Without further ado, let's take a look at how UFC on FUEL 4 panned out for you all:

UFC 149 CONFIDENCE GAME CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH UP
Dionicio Ortiz vs. Jimbo Slice
Note: Should either contender fail to submit their picks for UFC 149 (Barao vs. Faber), Adam Martin would step up as a challenger, and so on. Everyone else will be fighting for the No 1 contender slot on the night, and the right to face off against Dionicio or Jimbo at UFC 150 (Henderson vs. Edgar).
Performer of the Night: Dionicio Ortiz wasted little time getting back into the groove, congratulations my man.
Goat of the Night: Yet another legend returned to action tonight, but sadly for Hall of Famer Cambo Nelson, the night didn't quite go according to plan. Always a next time Cambo, even the best get beat every now and again.
Our full prediction and betting contest will return for UFC 149, so keep an eye out for it this time next week. I'll also continue to post links on my Twitter account when the link goes up on the website.
