The UFC has not found a replacement for Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, and because of that they have decided to take Rich Franklin off of the card as well.
The organization announced on Sunday that the bout would be scrapped entirely, and instead a welterweight bout between Dennis Hallman and Brian Ebersole has been promoted to the night's main pay-per-view card.
Bumping up to the co-main event slot will be the middleweight bout between Vitor Belfort and Yoshihiro Akiyama. Additionally, the four fights left on the night's preliminary card will stream live on Facebook. The full card, which takes place from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Penn. on August 6, is below:
