...OH, ONE MORE THING - PLEASE BOOKMARK US & VISIT DAILY!
The UFC's return to the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas is now officially a sell-out, as the organization on Tuesday announced that UFC 126 will see a capacity crowd on February 5.
The stacked event, headlined by the Middleweight Championship bout between Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort, airs live on pay-per-view the night before the NFL's Super Bowl. Though the event is now sold out, fans can still purchase $50 tickets to a closed circuit viewing at the Islander Ballroom at Mandalay Bay.
"Fans have been telling me how excited they are for this card ever since we announced the event," UFC President Dana White said in today's release. "This is a stacked card from top to bottom, and fans responded by making UFC 126 a sellout."
The card will also feature two big fights in the light heavyweight division in Rich Franklin vs. Forrest Griffin and Ryan Bader vs. Jon Jones, as well as the UFC debut of former WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres. Two preliminary card bouts will also air on Spike TV prior to the pay-per-view broadcast.
