Though it's been nearly two and a half months since the UFC 168 event in Las Vegas, the drug test results from the event hadn't yet been released by this week. That's because they're not fully complete yet.
According to a report from Ariel Helwani on Wednesday's new edition of UFC Tonight on Fox Sports 1, the delay in the release of the event's drug testing results is due to the samples given by Dennis Siver and Siyar Bahadurzada. Per the report, the samples given by both fighters came back "inconclusive," and they're waiting on results from the "B" samples provided.
To be clear, neither fighter has failed their drug test as of yet, and that's why the second sample is being tested. All fighters provide two urine samples when they're tested, and if the first produces a positive result, they test the second to confirm that the first result wasn't due to a contamination.
Siver picked up a win on the Dec. 28 card over Manny Gamburyan, while Bahadurzada lost to John Howard. All other fighters on the card passed their drug tests.
