A bantamweight bout between Eddie Wineland and Johnny Eduardo is headed to the UFC Fight Night event in Cincinnati on May 10, according to several reports out of Brazil.
Eduardo returns to action for the first time in nearly two years. The Brazilian's last fight came against Jeff Curran back at the UFC on Fuel event in Fairfax, Va. in 2012. He was scheduled for two bouts in 2013, only to pull out due to injury on each occasion.
Wineland is working his way back into title contention after a loss to Renan Barao last September. In his first outing since that loss, Wineland knocked out Yves Jabouin in January.
The UFC's May 10 event does not yet have a headliner, but it will be their first event in the city since October of 2007.
