The UFC isn't wasting any time putting together their fight card for the Nov. 6 "Fight for the Troops" event, with two more middleweight fights announced overnight.
Yoel Romero will take on Ronny Markes, and Chris Camozzi will fight Lorenz Larkin on the card coming to Fort Campbell.
Romero was supposed to compete on next week's UFC 164 event in Milwaukee, but had two opponents pull out due to injury. He was removed from the card, and now he'll get his chance to follow up on a stellar flying knee knockout in his UFC debut earlier this year.
Markes returns for the first time since January, where he notched his third straight win inside the Octagon. He was on a four fight winning streak already when he entered the UFC in 2011, and while that was his fourth fight of that year, he's fought just once each in 2012 and 2013. He was actually set to fight this June, but got into a car accident on the day of weigh-ins.
Camozzi and Larkin are each hoping to bounce back from losses in their last bouts. Camozzi stepped up to take on Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza on short notice at UFC on FX 8 in May, but had a four fight win streak snapped when he was submitted in the first round. Larkin, meanwhile, fell victim to poor judging in April, losing a fight almost all MMA sites had scored for him to Francis Carmont by decision.
UFC Fight for the Troops 3 will air live on Fox Sports 1, headlined by a middleweight bout between Lyoto Machida and Tim Kennedy.
