With no submission victories at UFC 158, the organization only handed out bonuses to three fighters for their efforts on the card.
Main card competitors Johny Hendricks, Carlos Condit, and Jake Ellenberger each earned an extra $50,000 out of the event, putting forth two of the highlights on the card in Montreal.
Hendricks and Condit each earned their bonus for the "Fight of the Night," as their back and forth co-main event was the easy pick for that honor. The two left everything in the cage as they essentially competed for a title fight, and Hendricks earned his shot - along with the bonus - with his win over the former Interim Champ.
"Knockout of the Night" was a clear winner as well, with Ellenberger taking out Nate Marquardt in the first round of their feature bout on the pay-per-view card. The finish came in a flurry against the cage, and marked perhaps the biggest win of his entire career.
