A featherweight bout between Leonard Garcia and Cody McKenzie appears headed to the UFC 159 card in New Jersey this April. Garcia revealed the matchup on Twitter, though the UFC hasn't officially announced the fight.
UFC President Dana White recently praised Garcia for his fighting style, saying he's not getting cut from the UFC despite four straight losses, and losses in five of his last six. Garcia could arguably be 0-11 going back to 2009, as his three wins and one draw in that stretch were all split decisions that could have easily gone to his opponents.
He'll try to keep his roster spot once again when he takes on McKenzie, who is in definite need of a win himself. McKenzie hasn't fought since making his featherweight debut last July, where he was stopped by Chad Mendes with a body punch. That marked his third loss in four fights.
UFC 159 takes place on April 27 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, headlined by the Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen.
