Swedish MMA fighter Chris Spang will make his UFC debut in his home country this April, as Swedish MMA site MMANytt.se reports that he'll take on fellow Strikeforce veteran Adlan Amagov at UFC on Fuel 9.
Spang appeared three times in Strikeforce, winning two of those bouts. His sole career loss came in his second bout in the organization, dropping a decision to Ricky Legere. He bounced back in May of last year, taking out Nah-Shon Burrell in the first round to move to 5-1 overall.
Amagov made four appearances in Strikeforce, winning three of those. However, his loss came in devastating fashion against Robbie Lawler, when he was hit by a flying knee and finished on the ground. He brings an 11-2-1 overall record to the UFC.
The UFC on Fuel 9 card takes place from Stockholm on April 6, headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi.
