Next week's UFC on FX 7 event in Brazil continues to get hit with injuries, and Canadian Roger Hollett is the latest to be knocked off the card.
According to a report from Brazil's SporTV, Hollett suffered a torn triceps in training, taking him out of a fight with Ildemar Alcantara.
In his place steps the debuting Alcantara, who is the reigning Jungle Fight Middleweight Champion. His older brother, Yuri Alcantara, competes in the UFC's featherweight division, and has actually had his opponent on this UFC on FX 7 card changed recently. The younger Alcantara enters the UFC with seven straight wins and an 11-1 mark in his last 12.
He'll take on Wagner Prado, who wants to bounce back from a loss to Phil Davis at UFC 153. Prado was submitted by Davis in what was technically a rematch, as their first fight ended before it really began when Prado was poked in the eye and the fight was ended as a no contest.
