The final UFC event of 2012 is now set with 12 fights, as a flyweight bout between John Moraga and Chris Cariaso has been added to the UFC 155 event in Las Vegas.
Moraga made his UFC debut this August, knocking out Ulysses Gomez in the first round at UFC on Fox 4 in Los Angeles. The win was his fifth straight, bringing his career record to an impressive 11-1. Surprisingly, the decisive striking stoppage was just his second finish with strikes, though five of his wins have come by submission. His sole loss came at the hands of current flyweight No. 1 contender John Dodson.
Cariaso made his flyweight debut in his last fight in July, defeating Josh Ferguson to move his Zuffa record to 5-2. His two losses in the WEC and UFC came at the hands of top bantamweight Michael McDonald and current Interim Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao. The only other loss on his 14-3 record came back in 2008.
UFC 155 takes place on Dec. 29 in Las Vegas, headlined by a Heavyweight Championship rematch between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.
