Following the report this week that Matt Riddle and Francisco Rivera had failed drug tests at UFC 149 in Calgary this summer, more information has now come out.

MMAJunkie.com now reports that, in addition to 90-day suspensions for both fighters - which were applied retroactively and expired Friday - both Riddle and Rivera have had their victories on the July 21 event overturned to a no contest.

"It was the Commission's decision to [amend] the results of both bouts these individuals participated in to No Contest because of the positive test results and those amendments have been filed accordingly," the Calgary Combative Sports Commission said in a statement posted in the report.

The UFC made a statement of their own on this week, conceding the matter to the commission and their authority.

"We've been informed by the Calgary Combative Sports Commission that Matt Riddle and Francisco Rivera tested positive for banned substances following their bouts at UFC 149," the UFC's statement read. "UFC has a strict, consistent policy against the use of banned drugs and performance-enhancing stimulants, including the requirement that all incoming athletes be tested and cleared. Therefore, we fully support the drug testing efforts of the Calgary Combative Sports Commission and will fully cooperate with the Commission regarding this matter."

Riddle defeated Chris Clements with a third round arm triangle choke on the card, earning a "Submission of the Night" bonus from the UFC. He tested positive for marijuana out of the event.

Rivera defeated Roland Delorme by TKO in the first round, but that win is now scrapped after he tested positive for an over-the-counter stimulant.
