Two more fights are headed to the UFC on Fuel 6 event in Macau, China, as Thiago Silva will return to action against Stanislav Nedkov, and Mac Danzig will meet Takanori Gomi on the Nov. 10.
Silva was scheduled to take on Mauricio "Shogun" Rua last month at UFC 149, but an injury took him out of that fight, partially leading to a summer shake up that moved Rua to Fox. Silva wants to halt a three-fight winless streak, one that featured a year-long suspension for an altered urine sample sandwiched by losses to Rashad Evans and Alexander Gustafsson.
He'll now meet Nedkov, who returns to action for the first time in 15 months. He made his UFC debut last August at UFC 134, taking out Luiz Cane in the first round to move his undefeated career record to 12-0.
Danzig and Gomi both get back into the cage for the second time this year, with both hoping to secure their second straight win. Gomi bounced back from two straight losses in February, knocking out Eiji Mitsuoka in a come-from-behind performance at UFC 144 in Japan. Danzig defeated Efrain Escudero at UFC 145 in April, his third win in his last five fights, bouncing him back from a loss to Matt Wiman last October.
