"Chael will always be an interesting fight, but we work together a lot with Fuel TV. So, I don't know if it will happen. Besides that, I think Chael might be going up. I'm never one to back down from a fight, though. So, if Chael wants to come down, I mean come up, then we gotta do it... Ultimately, [I'd like to fight] Anderson Silva. Then, at the same time, I would have to establish myself in the weight class. So they say. So, I don't know. That's a good question. Matter of fact, Dana White call me! Joe Silva call me!"
-Rashad Evans spoke with MMA Live following Saturday's UFC 150 event and discussed potential bouts with Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva, hinting again at a move to the middleweight division (transcribed by BloodyElbow.com).
Penick's Analysis: It's looking more and more likely that Evans is heading to middleweight, though who he faces at that point remains to be seen. If Sonnen moves up, they'll be switching spots on the respective divisional rosters, so that fight isn't likely to happen, but Evans seems more and more open to taking on a No. 1 contender fight at 185 lbs. to earn a shot at Anderson Silva. It's a move I'd like to see this fall, and there are a number of interesting options that will be available to him if that's the move he makes.
