The UFC Featherweight Championship bout between Jose Aldo and Erik Koch, originally scheduled for Saturday night's UFC 149 event, will now headline the UFC 153 event in Brazil this October.
UFC officials announced the headlining fight on Thursday.
Aldo was forced out of Saturday's card with a minor injury, postponing the planned title bout. He'll now return to Brazil for the second time this year, fighting for the first time since knocking out Chad Mendes in Rio de Janeiro at UFC 142 in January.
Koch opted to wait out his title shot instead of taking another fight this weekend, and the delay will keep him out of action for over a year, as he hasn't fought since defeating Jonathan Brookins last September.
UFC 153 takes place on October 13, and will also feature a light heavyweight bout between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Glover Teixeira in what could be Jackson's last UFC fight.
