One of the biggest events in UFC history will hit Las Vegas on July 7, as a stacked UFC 148 card comes to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The card is headlined by two title fight rematches, with UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva putting his belt on the line for a second time against Chael Sonnen, and Dominick Cruz defending his UFC Bantamweight Championship against Urijah Faber for a second time in two years. That meeting is the third overall between the two.
Also on the main card is another trilogy bout, a light heavyweight tilt between Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz that will be the final fight of Ortiz's career. Rounding out the main card is a middleweight bout between Rich Franklin and Cung Le, and Demian Maia's welterweight debut against Dong Hyun Kim.
Tickets for the event go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 4, ranging from $125-$1200. UFC Fight Club members have access to a presale for the event this Wednesday, May 2, with UFC newsletter subscribers gaining access to tickets on Thursday, May 3.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
