May's UFC 146 pay-per-view event is going to be the biggest in UFC history, in a very literal sense.

According to a report from Kevin Iole at Yahoo! Sports, the UFC has finalized a bout between Stefan Struve and Mark Hunt for the main card, making the five-fight pay-per-view broadcast an all-heavyweight affair. It will be the first time in history that an entire UFC pay-per-view card consists of only heavyweight fights, and it will be capped off by a massive Heavyweight Championship bout between Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem.

The Struve-Hunt bout joins that main event, along with previously announced fights in Frank Mir vs. Cain Velasquez, Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva vs. Roy Nelson, and Shane Del Rosario vs. Gabriel Gonzaga for the May 26 main card in Las Vegas.

Both Struve and Hunt enter on winning streaks. Struve has won four of his last five, including two straight, with all four wins coming by stoppage. Hunt, meanwhile, has had a career resurgence in the UFC, winning three straight - with two knockout wins - after losing six straight, and it has brought him over .500 on his career.

Penick's Analysis: This is going to be an awesome spectacle of the event, and it points to the strength of the UFC heavyweight division in 2012 that this card can be put together. The best part about it as well is that none of the fights are bad fights, and all of them should provide plenty of action. Struve-Hunt is the perfect next fight for each of them, Mir-Velasquez is a fantastic fight, Del Rosario vs. Gonzaga should be fantastic, and the title fight is an amazing heavyweight fight. The only potential stinker is Bigfoot vs. Big Country, but even that could be more than adequate. This is an awesome heavyweight event, and should be highly entertaining in Las Vegas in May.
