"Anderson, over the last several months, I've disparaged your name in attempt to garner respect and attention for my own. That was wrong and I apologize. My actions were unsportsmanlike, they were uncalled for."
-As if Hell has frozen over, Chael Sonnen apologizes to UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva on tonight's episode of "UFC Tonight" on Fuel TV.
Penick's Analysis: This quote was released by Fuel TV as a preview for tonight's show, so there's no context on how the quote came about or in what tone the words are said. Because of that, it's hard to tell whether this will be a mocking apology or if Sonnen is trying to present an air of truth to it. Regardless, it's a highly intriguing comment, and Fuel TV is certainly hoping people will tune in to see exactly what type of context the comment is made.
