Cage Warriors will return to Wales this weekend, bringing a sold out CW 67 event at the LC in Swansea. The card, which has been plagued by injuries, will go ahead as a seven bout event.
Headlining in the main-event will be hometown Swansea boy Brett "The Pikey" Johns, who will be putting his Bantamweight Title on the line when he faces number one contender James "Job Done" Brum.
Johns holds a perfect professional record at 9-0, and claimed the CWFC bantamweight title at CW 59. He did so in a single night four-man title tournament, where he defeated David Haggstrom and Jordan Desborough via decision to secure the title.
His opponent, James Brum (14-2), is currently riding an eight fight winning streak with seven of the eight victories coming in the way of decision. The fight was scheduled to be held in December 2013 at Cage Warriors 62, though Brum was forced to pull out of the fight due to an injury.
The co-main event of the evening will be a lightweight bout which will now see Sean Carter (8-1) vs. Mario Saeed (5-1). Mario steps up as a late replacement for the injured Wesley Murch (13-7). In the lone women's fight of the evening, the undefeated Gemma Hewitt (1-0) - who will be making her Cage Warriors debut - will be facing the more experienced, and also undefeated, Polish fighter Agnieszka Niedzwiedz (5-0) in a bantamweight bout.
Weigh-ins will be held tomorrow (Friday 11 April).
