Bellator and Glory's unique hybrid event on Sept. 19 will bring something never before seen in the MMA space, with both a cage and ring set up at the SAP Center in San Jose.
The organization released a mock up image of how that set-up will work, so fans can get an idea of what to expect in the arena. Check it out below:
Tickets for the event - which will feature a Light Heavyweight Title fight between Liam McGeary and Tito Ortiz, as well as a four man, one-night only light heavyweight tournament on the MMA side - go on sale next week on Friday, June 26.
Penick's Analysis: It's going to be a highly intriguing night from Bellator and Glory, and it's an admirably ambitious attempt to pull off something major and different. McGeary-Ortiz was going to happen, but giving it a strong and intriguing supporting cast as this card will provide is smart. At the very least, people will be tuning in for the novelty of both things being set up, and they're going to provide an entertaining experience for those in the arena as well.
DON'T GO YET... WE SUGGEST THESE MMATORCH ARTICLES, TOO!
