How to Read a Line
- The fighter with the greater negative number is the odds-makers'
favorite to win the match. All numbers are based on a $100 increment. A
negative number means you would have to wager the amount of the
negative number (in positive dollars) to net a $100 profit. A positive
number means you could wager $100 to profit the amount of the positive number.
- For entry
into this contest, please use $1000 in play money to make bets on at
least 3 UFC 81: Breaking Point fighters, with a maximum bet of $500 and a minimum bet
of $100. Please send in your predictions by 4:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 2.
- Eligible
entries must include bets on at least 3 fighters. Any bets over $500
will be rounded down, with the difference being added evenly to the
other bets. Any bets under $100 will be rounded up, with the difference
being subtracted evenly from the other bets.
- This competition is open to all MMATorch readers and MMATorch staff members. THIS IS ONLY A GAME AND AND DOES NOT INCLUDE THE WAGERING OF ANY REAL MONEY. If no one is able to profit, the winner will be determined by who lost the least.
- Entries must be received by 4:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 2.
Entries can be resubmitted up until this time. Please make a note in
your e-mail that your entry is a resubmission, which will void your
