For you to become the next Number One Contender for the MMATorch Prediction Championship, send in your picks for UFC 81: Breaking Point, to be held Saturday, February 2, to air on PPV. If you're able to
correctly predict the most UFC 81 fights, you'll earn a head-to-head
championship match-up with your picks against our champion at UFC 82: Pride of a Champion on March 1, 2008.
At UFC 81, MMA Torch
Columnist Mike Jarsulic defended his title for the second time in four
days. Jars won going away after Swick scored the decision win over
Burkman in the main event fight sending your humble author back to the
drawing board. The new #1 contender
is none other than the previous champion, Micky Wan. Wan rambled to an
8-1 record with a boatload of tiebreaker points to attain top contender
status. Can Wan take back the title he abdicated just a few short
weeks ago? Or, will Jarsulic remain dominant and extend his career best
record of title defenses? We'll find out on Saturday.
Here's your chance to be
next in line for a title opportunity at UFC 82: Pride of a Champion, where you'll go
head-to-head with either Wan or Jarsulic, on March 1, 2008.
