AXS TV touts six fights and six finishes, two championship fights last night on Resurrection Fighting Alliance 45 card

SIX FIGHTS AND SIX FINISHES, INCLUDING TWO CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS, ON ‘AXS TV FIGHTS: RESURRECTION FIGHTING ALLIANCE 45’

Los Angeles – Oct. 28, 2016 – In his second featherweight title defense, Raoni Barcelos (11-1) knocked out Dan Moret (11-3) in the second round of the co-main event on AXS TV FIGHTS: RESURRECTION FIGHTING ALLIANCE 45. Then, in the headlining fight, Gerald Meerschaert (24-8) submitted Chase Waldon (10-2) in the first round to win the vacant RFA middleweight belt.

Other highlights from tonight include:

Chad Curry (8-1) scored a dominant TKO victory over Frank Schuman (7-3) in the first round.

Mitch White (2-1), Bobby Lee (5-0) and Ben Neumann (11-4) all landed submissions to kick off the first three fights of the night.

Main Event – Middleweight Title Fight – Gerald Meerschaert (24-8, 183.8) defeated Chase Waldon (10-2) via submission (arm triangle choke) at 1:44 in round one.

Co-Main Event – Featherweight Title Fight – Raoni Barcelos (11-1) defeated Dan Moret (11-3) by knockout (punch) at 0:51 in round two.

Welterweight Fight – Chad Curry (8-1) defeated Frank Schuman (7-3) by TKO (punches) at 3:06 in round one.

Welterweight Fight – Ben Neumann (11-4) defeated Jordon Larson (7-3) via submission (D’Arce choke) at 4:01 in round two.

Lightweight Fight – Bobby Lee (5-0) defeated Damion Shehan (3-1) via submission (armbar) at 2:00 in round one.

Bantamweight Fight – Mitch White (2-1) defeated Antonio Sanchez (3-1) via submission (guillotine choke) at 0:54 in round two.
