Gegard Mousasi apparently has a new opponent already for the July 9 UFC 200 event in Las Vegas, as MMAFighting.com reports that Thiago Santos his stepped up to take that fight.

Mousasi had revealed earlier on Sunday that Derek Brunson had been forced out of their bout, but made clear he wanted to remain on the card.

Santos has won four straight fights and is 6-2 overall in the UFC into this event. That includes three stoppage wins in that current winning streak, including a brutal KO over Nate Marquardt in May.

Mousasi is back in the win column after a shocking upset loss to Uriah Hall last fall, as he beat Thales Leites by decision in February.

UFC 200 hits the brand new T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas, featuring the return of Brock Lesnar against Mark Hunt and the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier.
