Brock Lesnar has opened up as the underdog to Mark Hunt into their matchup at UFC 200, with sportsbook Bookmaker.eu releasing the following line to open up betting on the July 9 bout:

Mark Hunt: -195

Brock Lesnar: +166

For the betting uninitiated, a $100 bet on Lesnar would bring a $166 payout should he win, while you’d need to bet $195 on Hunt in order to win a $100. The line has already moved slightly, with Lesnar down to a +161 dog and Hunt a -190 favorite.

The fight was announced on Monday morning following the reveal of Lesnar’s UFC return during Saturday’s UFC 199 broadcast. It will be the former UFC Heavyweight Champion’s first fight since December of 2011, after which he’ll return to the WWE.

Penick’s Analysis: It’s a sensible line. Lesnar hasn’t fought in four and a half years, and he’s struggled against a couple of hard hitting heavyweights in the two losses that sent him out. He’s got the wrestling and top game to win this fight, but considering him an underdog to Hunt is more than understandable into next month’s event.
