Fabricio Werdum will attempt to get back on track this September after losing the UFC Heavyweight Championship to Stipe Miocic, and he’ll do so on the same card as Miocic’s first title defense.

It was announced during Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 88 broadcast that Werdum will take on Ben Rothwell at UFC 203, which takes place on Sept. 10 from “The Q” in Miocic’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

Werdum was knocked out in the first round of his first defense earlier this month, with Miocic catching him with a right hand as he rushed in at UFC 198. The loss came in front of 45,000 home country fans in Curitiba, Brazil, and snapped a six fight winning streak inside the Octagon.

As for Rothwell, his title hopes were dashed last month when he was defeated by Junior dos Santos in Croatia, and he’ll try to revive them with a win over another former champ. The 34-year-old had won four straight fights into that UFC Fight Pass main event, and the loss was a significant setback.
