Bantamweights Felipe Arantes and Jerrod Sanders set for UFC Fight Night 90 matchup in Las Vegas

A bantamweight bout between Felipe Arantes and Jerrod Sanders is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night 90 card in Las Vegas in July, the organization announced this week.

Arantes returns for the first time since last August, where he scored a first round submission win over Yves Jabouin. The 28-year-old has been inconsistent in his eight-fight UFC run, alternating victories with losses and one draw in a 4-3-1 run.

Sanders, 36, made his UFC debut in 2014 on the strength of a 14-1 record, but lost his first two fights in the organization. The second loss was overturned after Pedro Munhoz failed a drug test, and he scored his first UFC win in his last appearance in July of 2015, taking a decision over Russell Doane.

UFC Fight Night 90 is the first of three Las Vegas events in three nights this July, hitting the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 7. The event airs live on UFC Fight Pass, headlined by the Lightweight Championship bout between Rafael dos Anjos and Eddie Alvarez.
