Jon Jones says Daniel Cormier won’t win at UFC 200 “because he consistently fails when he’s up against greatness”

Jon Jones took another shot at Daniel Cormier on Twitter on Wednesday, responding to a question posed by the UFC’s Twitter account.

That account asked followers whether or not Cormier would hear “And still…” at UFC 200, to which Jones responded:

57 days.

Penick’s Analysis: Ouch. It’s true that Cormier hasn’t yet been able to grasp that top spot overall in his endeavors to date, and beating Jones would do that. However, he didn’t do that the first time, and there’s no evidence yet to suggest things will be different in the rematch. This won’t be the last time Jones reminds Cormier of that, either. Jones certainly feels entirely confident in his ability to repeat or even win even more convincingly in the rematch.
