WSOF 32 on July 30 now to be headlined by Bantamweight Title rematch between Marlon Moraes and Josh Hill

The World Series of Fighting has announced a new main event for their July 30 event in Everett, Wash., as Marlon Moraes and Josh Hill will square off for a second time for the WSOF Bantamweight Championship at WSOF 32.

That new matchup pushes the Featherweight Title bout between Alexandre Almeida and Lance Palmer to the co-main event slot for the NBCSN event.

“The magnitude of this event has increased dramatically with the addition of a second world title fight and rematch between Marlon Moraes, who has been unstoppable, in the cage, and one of the most formidable and talented contenders in the world in Josh Hill,” said WSOF President Ray Sefo.

Moraes and Hill battled for five rounds in February of 2015, with Moraes retaining the title he’d won in March of 2014. Moraes has since defended the belt twice more, moving his winning streak to 11-straight fights. He’s now 16-4-1 overall, with eleven of his victories ending by (T)KO or submission.

As for Hill, the loss to Moraes is the only knock on his 15-fight record, and he’s won four straight fights since that defeat. Only one of those fights came under the WSOF banner, as he defeated Bekbulat Magomedov at WSOF 26 in December.
