The UFC on Sunday confirmed two previously reported fights as respective main events for their July events in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Chicago, Illinois, as both Tony Ferguson vs. Michael Chiesa and Holly Holm vs. Valentina Shevchenko will happen in five-round bouts.

Holm, who lost her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship to Miesha Tate in March, returns on July 23 at UFC on Fox 20 in Chicago to get herself back on track. The loss to Tate was the first of her career, coming after her KO win over Ronda Rousey last November. Shevchenko defeated Sarah Kaufman in her UFC debut in December, but she enters this main event slot off a decision loss to UFC 200 title challenger Amanda Nunes.

Ferguson and Chiesa will headline the UFC’s debut in Sioux Falls on July 13 at UFC Fight Night 91, with Ferguson trying to secure a shot at the UFC Lightweight Title on the strength of an eighth straight win. Chiesa, a fellow winner of The Ultimate Fighter, will try to be a roadblock to Ferguson’s ascent to that spot. The 28-year-old will be out for his fourth straight win, and what would be his sixth win in a seven-fight span.
