Angela Hill replaces injured Alexa Grasso at Invicta FC 16 against Stephanie Eggink

An injury to the undefeated Alexa Grasso has led to a change on the Invicta FC 16 card, with the organization announcing that Angela Hill has stepped in to replace her against Stephanie Eggink.

Hill made a successful debut in the organization at Invicta FC 15 in January, scoring a body strike knock out against Alida Gray. That bounced her back from consecutive losses in the UFC after a debut win out of The Ultimate Fighter’s 20th season.

Eggink is returning to the cage for the first time since September of 2014, where she made her Invicta debut in a fight for the vacant Strawweight Title. She lost that fight by submission against Katja Kankaanpaa, but she holds victories over TUF 20 competitors Angela Magana and Heather Clark.

Invicta FC 16 hits the Trinidad Pavilion at the Tropicana in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 11, headlined by an Atomweight Title bout between Ayaka Hamasaki and Amber Brown. The event airs live on UFC Fight Pass.
