Friday’s Bellator 150 event has lost its headliner a day out from the card, as Bantamweight Champion Marcos Galvao was forced to withdraw on Thursday due to illness.

Bellator announced the removal in a press release this morning, announcing the heavyweight bout between Cheick Kongo and Vinicius Quieroz as the new main event.

Former Bellator Champ and this week’s challenger Eduardo Dantas received his show money for the card after making weight himself early Thursday.

Friday’s card on Spike also features Dave Rickels vs. Bobby Cooper, Kendall Grove vs. Francisco France, Gaston Reyno vs. Chuka Willis, and Lena Ovchynnikova vs. Rebecca Ruth.
