CM Punk’s got an opponent for his UFC debut.

Now 2-0 fighter Mickey Gall made a successful UFC debut on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 82, submitting Mike Jackson 45 seconds into the first round, and as promised that win will give him the fight with Punk, expected for June of this year.

Gall got the attention of UFC President Dana White during the official premiere episode of White’s web series Looking For a Fight, asking for Punk after picking up a win on the regional scene. White then got him booked on this event and said a win would get him that fight. After the fight was finished, Punk came into the cage to congratulate Gall on the win, and they had a cordial interaction with that fight expected next.

Though no official date is yet set, the Punk-Gall fight is expected to take place on the UFC 199 card in June under the Luke Rockhold-Chris Weidman rematch. However, Punk said after Gall’s win that he’s still gunning for UFC 200.
